Against its published line
Above its line on the last close.
How to read this
The red mark is the published kill line — the price that would prove the thesis wrong. The dot is where the name closed on the last session; a dot left of the mark has closed through its line.
Distance is drawn on a square-root scale, so close calls get the room. Past 8% a row reads well clear, with a hollow dot to show the figure is off the drawn scale. Rows run tightest first.
Kill line
A daily close below $0.80, which would extend the reversal below the current lows. A third-quarter report showing revenue at or below the $514,000 second-quarter level would also break the case.
Not a pickResearch coverage at low conviction. A medium-or-higher call would open a pick on the scoreboard.

How picks are graded →The thesis
Firefly Neuroscience's September partnership rally has fully reversed, and the shares now trade below the Nasdaq $1.00 minimum bid price. The third-quarter report, expected around 12 November 2026, settles whether the Radial and NeuroSigma deals add revenue to the $514,000 reported for the second quarter.
The narrative is dead in price terms: the shares closed at $0.92 on 23 October 2026, well under the $1.58 intraday price Benzinga reported on 25 September 2026, the day the NeuroSigma partnership was announced. The prior note's $1.00 failure line has been breached. The shares closed at $1.19 on 9 October 2026 and at $0.92 two weeks later, according to adjusted daily closes. No company news after the 1 October 2026 investor-conference appearance has appeared in company releases or news searches.
Bullish and bearish views on Firefly Neuroscience, Inc.
The bull case on Firefly Neuroscience, Inc. (AIFF), in brief: Revenue is growing from a small base. The bear case: The deals carry no stated economics.
Bull case
- Revenue is growing from a small base. The June 2026 Form 10-Q reports second-quarter revenue of $514,000, against $299,000 a year earlier.
- Losses have narrowed sharply. The same 10-Q reports a six-month net loss of $3.99 million through 30 June 2026, against $14.76 million a year earlier.
- Two new distribution channels exist. On 17 September 2026 Firefly announced work to integrate its Evoke EEG/ERP brain-measurement platform with Radial's RadialOS. On 25 September 2026 NeuroSigma assigned Firefly clinician introductions and education for its FDA-cleared Monarch eTNS pediatric attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) device.
- The shares are deeply oversold. The 14-day relative strength index (RSI) was 16.1 on 23 October 2026, a reading that has historically preceded rebounds in some cases and further declines in others.
Bear case
- The deals carry no stated economics. Neither the 17 September 2026 Radial release nor the 25 September 2026 NeuroSigma release puts a number on revenue to Firefly.
- Going-concern doubt is unresolved. The June 2026 Form 10-Q states substantial doubt about continuing operations for one year. It reported cash of $9.23 million at 30 June 2026, against $3.70 million used in operations in the first half.
- Share supply is available. The $7.43 million at-the-market equity program opened on 3 February 2026 had no sales through 30 June 2026. A lower share price means any sales would issue more shares per dollar raised. The 10-Q cover showed 15,690,316 shares outstanding on 4 August 2026.
- The listing is under pressure. The 23 October 2026 close of $0.92 is below Nasdaq's $1.00 minimum bid price. A deficiency notice follows 30 consecutive business days below that level. The start date of the sub-$1.00 run is not established in the sources reviewed.
- Finance leadership is in transition. An 8-K filed 14 September 2026 disclosed the termination of chief financial officer Paul Krzywicki, effective 24 September 2026, and the appointment of a chief accounting officer.
Price setup
The shares closed at $0.92 on 23 October 2026 on split- and dividend-adjusted daily bars. That is 69.5% below the 52-week high of $3.02 and 16.8% lower over three months. The RSI of 16.1 shows selling that is extreme by its own history.
Crowding is absent. Benzinga's health-care movers lists picked up the 33.2% jump to $1.58 on 25 September 2026, and that attention has faded. Form 4 filings dated 29 September 2026 showed directors receiving deferred stock unit grants, not open-market sales. The unused at-the-market program is the visible source of potential new supply. The third-quarter report is the one near-term event.
Catalysts, next 30 days
- ~12 November 2026, est.: Third-quarter 2026 results and Form 10-Q. One financial calendar lists this date; the company has not confirmed it in the sources reviewed. The filing shows revenue against $514,000, any at-the-market sales, cash remaining and the going-concern language.
- Any date: Nasdaq deficiency notice. An 8-K would follow 30 consecutive business days of closes below $1.00.
What would change the view
The case breaks if third-quarter revenue is at or below the $514,000 second-quarter level with no revenue attributed to Radial or NeuroSigma. It also breaks if the 10-Q shows at-the-market sales that fund losses at the current price, or if the company announces a discounted registered offering. A third-quarter figure clearly above $514,000 with attributed partner revenue would strengthen it. Price-wise, a daily close below $0.80 would extend the reversal beyond the current lows.
What it trades with
Firefly trades on its own news flow and financing events, not on a sector. The 25 September 2026 move appeared in Benzinga's lists of small health-care stocks that jump on single announcements, and the shares have since given the move back. The shares are not part of a current theme cluster. The sample of post-announcement trading days is too small to say how the shares react to the report.
Notes
- The June 2026 Form 10-Q includes a going-concern warning: management states substantial doubt about continuing operations for one year.
- The $7.43 million at-the-market equity program opened on 3 February 2026 lets the company sell new shares into the market without a separate offering announcement.
- Nasdaq's minimum bid price rule requires a $1.00 close; a deficiency notice follows 30 consecutive business days below it.
