How to read this

The red mark is the published kill line — the price that would prove the thesis wrong. The dot is where the name closed on 22 October 2026; a dot left of the mark has closed through its line.

Distance is drawn on a square-root scale, so close calls get the room. Past 8% a row reads well clear, with a hollow dot to show the figure is off the drawn scale. Rows run tightest first.

Kill line

A daily close below $3.00, a round-number level under the 22 October 2026 close of $3.38. Failure to repay or refinance the $40.0 million bridge loan by 31 January 2027 would also defeat the financing case.

Not a pickResearch coverage at low conviction. A medium-or-higher call would open a pick on the scoreboard.

The thesis

Uranium Royalty Corp. owns royalties on uranium mines, and its Sweetwater acquisition has added a royalty revenue line, but the case remains unproven until a full quarter of royalty cash arrives and the $40.0 million bridge loan due 31 January 2027 is repaid or refinanced. The shares closed at $3.38 on 22 October 2026 (adjusted daily closes), down from $4.18 on 9 October 2026 and 38.1% below the 52-week high of $5.46. That close is under the $3.90 level the prior note named as the end of the post-Sweetwater advance.

No company filing has appeared since the Form 10-Q filed 14 September 2026, which recorded $0.6 million of Sweetwater royalty revenue for 27 July through 31 July and $53.0 million of operating cash flow for the quarter ended 31 July 2026, primarily from uranium-inventory sales. The only dated item since is HC Wainwright & Co. reiterating a Buy rating with a $4.5 price target on 19 October 2026. The fiscal second-quarter report, expected around mid-December 2026, is the first to show a full quarter of Sweetwater royalties.

The narrative is maturing: the Sweetwater story has been public since July 2026, interest has cooled since the 9 October 2026 close of $4.18, and the shares' three-month gain has narrowed to 23.4% from 53.1% on that date. A funded bridge repayment alongside a full quarter of disclosed Sweetwater revenue would strengthen the case. A second inventory-led quarter with the bridge still open would weaken it.

Bullish and bearish views on Uranium Royalty Corp.

The bull case on Uranium Royalty Corp. (UROY), in brief: Acquired royalties now report revenue. The bear case: The advance has reversed.

Bull case

  • Acquired royalties now report revenue. The Form 10-Q filed 14 September 2026 showed $0.6 million of Sweetwater royalty revenue from the 27 July 2026 close through 31 July, inside $0.682 million of total royalty revenue. The five-day sample is too small to support a run-rate claim.
  • Cash exceeded the bridge principal. At 31 July 2026 the company held $54.10 million of cash against $40.0 million of bridge principal, per the same filing. The cash came largely from inventory sales that do not recur on a fixed schedule.
  • An analyst target sits above the price. HC Wainwright & Co. reiterated Buy and a $4.5 price target on 19 October 2026, against the $3.38 close on 22 October 2026. The target is one firm's view.
  • A strategic holder is on the register. A Schedule 13D reported by Benzinga on 28 July 2026 showed Uranium Energy Corp. holding 7.7% as of 27 July 2026.
  • The shares are deeply oversold. The 14-day relative strength index, a momentum gauge on a 0–100 scale, read 28.6 on 22 October 2026, below the 30 level commonly read as oversold.

Bear case

  • The advance has reversed. The close fell from $4.18 on 9 October 2026 to $3.38 on 22 October 2026 (adjusted daily closes). No company filing or news release in that window explains the decline.
  • Earnings are inventory-led. The quarter ended 31 July 2026 included $50.967 million of uranium-inventory sales against $0.682 million of royalty revenue (Form 10-Q, 14 September 2026). The reported $0.10 diluted earnings per share says little about steady royalty cash flow.
  • The financing clock is explicit. The filing shows a $17.25 million working-capital deficit at 31 July 2026 and a $40.0 million bridge loan due 31 January 2027. It also requires net equity-issuance proceeds raised before repayment to go toward that loan.
  • Management flagged going-concern doubt. The same filing says management's liquidity plans did not alleviate substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
  • The share count rose sharply. The 27 July 2026 Sweetwater transaction issued 223,252,749 common shares to the acquired business's investors (Form 10-Q, 14 September 2026). That adds supply that holders can sell into rallies.

Price setup

The adjusted daily close on 22 October 2026 was $3.38. The 52-week high is $5.46, so the shares sit 38.1% below it. The 14-day relative strength index was 28.6, down from 48.3 on 9 October 2026.

The $3.90 level from the prior note has been lost: the close of $3.38 is below it, and no weekly close back above it has occurred. The shares now trade in a price range last seen before the advance that produced the 23.4% three-month gain.

Crowding evidence is limited. The oversold momentum reading, the 7.7% Uranium Energy holding and the 223,252,749 shares issued in July are the observable items. No earnings date falls inside the next 30 days, and no insider sale has been reported in company filings.

Catalysts, next 30 days

  • ~15 December 2026 (est.): Fiscal 2027 Q2 Form 10-Q, outside the 30-day window but the event the case turns on.
  • 31 January 2027: Bridge-loan repayment deadline for the $40.0 million principal.

Elapsed catalysts

  • ~30 October 2026 (est.): Month-end long-term uranium price indicator for October. It shows whether the term-price backdrop that supports royalty values is holding. (passed 7d ago)
  • 31 October 2026: Close of fiscal 2027 second quarter, the first full quarter that includes Sweetwater royalties. The filing that follows is the first full-quarter test. (passed 6d ago)

What would change the view

The case would break if the fiscal Q2 Form 10-Q shows limited Sweetwater royalty revenue while inventory sales again supply most of operating cash flow. It would also break if the company announces an equity issue at a deep discount to recent prices, or reports the $40.0 million bridge unpaid at 31 January 2027.

The case would improve if the filing shows a full quarter of acquired royalty revenue and a funded repayment path for the bridge. A weekly close back above $3.90 would show the post-Sweetwater advance has resumed. The price condition for this note is a daily close below $3.00.

What it trades with

The shares trade with the uranium group: spot and term uranium prices, and sentiment toward nuclear power. Uranium Energy Corp. is both a peer and a 7.7% holder as of 27 July 2026, so moves in that stock are relevant.

Royalty receipts depend on operator deliveries, so the company's revenue follows operators' production schedules rather than the commodity price alone. The fiscal year ends in April, so reporting dates sit one month apart from calendar-quarter uranium peers.

Notes

  • Domesticated to Delaware under the Arrangement Agreement dated 16 April 2026; a Form 15-12G signed 30 July 2026 deregistered the predecessor, so filings now follow US forms (10-Q, 8-K).
  • The company has historically reported on an 30 April fiscal year end, so its quarters sit one month apart from calendar-quarter uranium peers. The domestication may change that year end.
  • Royalty revenue is episodic by construction: receipts land when an operator delivers, so quarter-to-quarter revenue comparisons carry limited information.
  • The plan of arrangement included an exchangeable-share election, so part of the equity sits outside the NASDAQ-listed common stock.
  • The TSX listing ended on 28 July 2026; the shares trade on NASDAQ only.
  • The Form 10-Q filed 14 September 2026 states that management's liquidity plans did not alleviate substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
